Waterfall island & bookmatched stone hood

The centerpiece of this new-construction kitchen is the range hood: two slabs bookmatched so the veining mirrors into a V down the center, running all the way to the vaulted ceiling. The island uses the same stone with mitered waterfall ends that carry the veining down to the floor.

Perimeter countertops in the same material tie the room together. Every piece was templated digitally and cut in our shop so the mitered edges and bookmatched seams line up.
